District Note: Scout Night at WSSU Football Game (Tuesday, September 23, 2008)

Dear Girl and Boy Scouts of America:
Winston-Salem State University is calling all Girl and Boy Scouts in the Winston-Salem and surrounding areas to participate in Girl and Boy Scouts Night on September 27, 2008 as Winston-Salem State takes on South Carolina State University. Kick off for this exciting Division I football game is scheduled for 6:00 pm at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem (just minutes from the campus of Winston-Salem State University). For each paying adult at general admission, one girl or boy scout member dressed in uniform or wearing sash will receive free admission to the game at the South Gate Entrance.
This is an opportunity for you to experience first hand what a college game-day atmosphere is like and mingle with other Ram fans and students.
Girl and Boy Scout troop participants will be recognized by the PA announcer as you walk around the stadium prior to and during the game. We hope that you will be able to attend. The general admission price for parents is $15 and $12 for students and senior citizens. Children 5 and under are admitted free.
There will be give-a-ways at the game geared toward kids. It is our hope that all Girl and Boy Scouts in our community will have the opportunity to experience the one-of-a-kind atmosphere that is WSSU Football.
If you plan to participate in ‘Scout Night’ or if you have any questions, please contact Lori Dobbins at 336.750.2936. All Girl and Boy Scout participants should enter the game, at the South Gate of Bowman Gray Stadium and remember for each paying adult, one boy or girl scout member will be admitted free! We are asking all scout participants to sit in Section 30 on the home side of the stadium.
