District Note: RT / ReCharter / Clinic / Fund Raiser (Monday, March 10, 2008)

TO PIEDMONT DISTRICT SCOUTERS:

Piedmont District Round Table is this Thursday, 7:00 PM at Maple Springs UMC on Reynolda Road (between Wake Forest Entrance and Polo Road).  This is open to ALL adult leaders and is intended to help you be a better leader.  There will be sessions for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venture Scout leaders.

Many of you are completing or have completed the on-line rechartering process.  Please be aware that you still have to print out the paperwork, have it signed by the appropriate persons and submit your fees before the process is complete and your unit is considered an on-time unit.
 
If you would like to submit your recharter the old way, we will be collecting them before the Roundtable starts on Thursday night.  Please bring the paperwork with signatures and a check.  While you are in the Roundtable, we will be checking recharters for errors.  As you exit the Roundtable, we will be able to tell you whether or not your recharter is ready to be submitted.  If so, the commissioners on hand will accept it and give it to Michael Montgomery or Jean Dominique to bring back to the council office.  If there is something wrong with the recharter, we will give it back to you - if it is something that cannot be easily fixed (ex. Missing signature, missing a required leader, etc.).
 
Also, do not forget your Centennial Quality Commitment Forms for 2008.  Please submit them with your recharter if you have not done so already.
 
Please try to get your recharters done this week, if possible.

They will complete medical forms also at this clinic.

Also, Bill Tuttle was wanting to purchase Duck Boxes and hoped there was a Troop out there that made them as a fundraiser.
