2008 Family Friends of Scouting Campaign
January starts the annual Family Friends of Scouting Campaign. While the bulk of our Old Hickory Council support comes from camp fees, popcorn profits and the United Way, the balance is made up from donations from individuals and businesses. Each year, a campaign presentation is made at each unit by the district (when parents can be present) to appeal for their support.
This year Bill Orr is the Piedmont Chairman of this committee and they will be calling your unit leader to arrange a date to meet. You can save us a lot of time and calling though by emailing Bill Orr with a date we can make a presentation, and the presenter will get back with you.
