District Note: Dinner Tonight / OA (Thursday, January 10, 2008)
TO PIEDMONT DISTRICT SCOUTERS:
Remember that tonight we will be feeding you before the Roundtable meeting. We will have barbeque sandwiches, baked beans, cole slaw and banana pudding. We are asking everyone to contribute $5 to offset the cost of the food.
Dinner will be served at 6 PM. As people are finishing their meal, we will begin an orientation on Charter Renewal for this year. Charter Renewal Kits will be given out and we will also have a brief overview of the Centennial Quality District Award for this year with explanations of each criteria in laymen’s’ terms.
We will also have the Scouting for Food Representative, Brenda Rush, there this evening. We will also be giving out Scouting for Food Bags.
There are a lot of important things being discussed tonight, so don’t miss it!

Our Order of the Arrow Chapter will also have their monthly ECM tonight, so please encourage your Troop Representative to be there!
Troop leaders should schedule a date for your troop OA elections tonight if possible.
