Christmas Trees - A copy of the Boy Scout Christmas Tree Sale flyer is attached in hopes that you might pass it along to your family and friends and help spread the word for this timely fund raiser.

With tough economic times, it's a great opportunity to save a few bucks if you prefer a live cut Christmas tree during the holdays.

Camping Gear - Historically, well at least the last couple of years, Don Wright from the Village Outdoor Shop in Reynolda Village has attended our Troop's November Court of Honor with a display that included some of the newest camping gear along with camping/hiking items that Scouts like to put on their wish list.

Don couldn't make it to this year's Court of Honor so he sent along a list of gift items that Scouts might be interested in. It's also handy for our Troop's Christmas party where Scouts often exchange gifts. We'll be doing the same thing this year and ask Scouts to keep the gift Scouting or camping related with a no more than $10 price tag.

Since he couldn't be with us on Tuesday, Don also included a 20% off coupon for one regularly priced items in his store. If you are thinking of buying something like boots, a backpack or sleeping bag, this could come in handy.

Village Outdoor also offers a special Boy Scout advancement program when Boy Scouts are awarded new ranks.
